    About Nicole Reyes

Hi there! I’m Nicole Reyes, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the states of California, Colorado, and New Mexico. I am also a registered telehealth provider in the state of Florida.

If you’ve found yourself experiencing stress, anxiety, and burnout, or find that you’re dealing with an overwhelming heaviness and lack of motivation, you’ve come to the right place. You may be asking yourself questions like, “Why doesn’t anyone else understand how hard this has been for me?”, “Why am I so confused and frustrated with my life?”, and “Why do I feel so stuck?” Maybe you feel like your relationships are struggling or your work performance is lacking. You’ve finally hit the breaking point and have started exploring ways to get the support you need, and found yourself here!

I know how important it is to feel like you’re making an informed decision about who to put your trust in to help you with these things, so let me make that easier for you…

Working with me means that you will have someone to help you find clarity in moving towards what serves you best instead of what hurts you, in ALL areas of your life. I use varying modalities that fit your individual needs in order to support you in gaining insight, and developing invaluable skills that will be there for the rest of your life. I don’t believe in pushing an agenda on you…if it works, we keep doing it, if not, we try something else!

I started Find Your Bliss Therapy Practice with the intention of creating the ideal space for me to be able to apply all of the varying experiences, skills, and knowledge I have obtained in the most effective way possible. As a military spouse, having a telehealth practice was the perfect way for me to make my career “mobile” and allow me to provide consistent care to my clients without interruption. I can take you with me wherever I go!

    Education and Experience:

I have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, and am dually licensed as an LMFT/LPCC in multiple states (a result of my nomadic life!). I have been working in the field of mental health since 2014, and have been working as a therapist since 2015. I have worked in a myriad of environments such as community mental health clinic, high school, residential treatment center/group home for teens, domestic violence shelter, and inpatient behavioral health hospital. From there, I transitioned to independent contracted work which led me on the path towards my private practice!

To describe my therapeutic approach, I would say it is a combination of interventions pulling from psychodynamic, CBT/DBT/REBT, and mindfulness-based theories. I have found that there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy, and there is certainly a time and place for each of these modalities to help someone, depending on the current struggle. Some days you need to go deep. Other days you need to just practice skills to get you through the next week.

If you are feeling ready to take the next steps, or just want to connect further and have a discussion, please feel free to reach out to me by clicking on the “Contact” button below. I would be SO happy to chat with you! I offer free 15-minute consultations to support you in feeling confident in your choice to move forward with me.
